The next generation

It has been well over 10 years since I have been to Holiday World.

When I was a kid, my cousins would all spend the night and we would make the trek to the then, Santa Claus Land. It was the highlight of our year.

Yesterday, my wife and I were able to take our 9 and 10 year old daughters for the first time. It was really cool to be able to ride rides with my kids that I had ridden when I was their ages.

Just wanted to pass along how impressed my wife and I were with the park in general.

The free parking, free sunscreen, and free drinks are enough to make the park the most family friendly place we've ever been.

On top of all that, the food prices were incredibly reasonable and the food itself was quality.

The gift shop prices blew our minds and the friendliness of the staff made us want to move to Indiana.

Holiday World blows Kentucky Kingdom away for the money.
