"Never...go corporate!"

I just thought I'd drop you an email regarding my family's visit to your park yesterday on 08/14/05.

I've been to few amusement parks in recent years (Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, Busch Gardens - Tampa, Busch Gardens - Williamsburg, Cedar Point, and Kings Island). I wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you, for making your park NON-SMOKING (except for designated areas).

Being from Louisville, I can tell you we are only about 15 minutes away from Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and are season pass holders, but your park has sold us on the extra drive time for REPEAT VISITS again in the future!

Having a daughter with asthma, I can tell you how frustrated we are to go to the
"kiddie areas" and baby area of the water park of Kentucky Kingdom only to have dozens of people (literally) blowing cigarette smoke in our faces all day long.

Not only have you taken care of eliminating smoking from those areas, you took the extra step of making the entire park that way.

I only witnessed a couple of people abusing this and smoking in non-designated areas.

My family thanks you!

I also expected that with "free drinks" and "sunscreen" your food prices would be high, but I found those to be very reasonable, too!

Besides that there was no charge to park! (Unlike Kentucky Kingdom or King's Island).

Your park was certainly as advertised and extremely clean. It is by far the most "family friendly" park I have been to in years.

I would love to "cc" this email to Kentucky Kingdom to let them read "how it should be done." But guess what? They have NO EMAIL address published to the public for praises, complaints, or suggestions....

Keep up the great work! I hope you never sell out and go corporate! We'll do our best and tell all of our friends!
