"We could keep up with everyone"

Just wanted to let you know our family did attend HW on the weekend of 08/14.

We stayed in Tell City and was amazed at how quickly we could get to HW and the traffic was almost non existent when we arrived! [We got there an hour early though, since we are an hour ahead of you guys at home].

Our children didn't remember coming to HW when they were younger, but had a great time and our grandkids too. We are already planning our "family outing" for next year.

Enjoyed the park and the trees were wonderful to get under from the heat!!

HW is much more family oriented for us because our grandchildren are 5,6, & 7 so we don't like the older type crowds that seem to overtake KY Kingdom.

We all enjoyed the small wave pool and felt comfortable cause it was small enough we could keep up with everyone.

One of my mottos is to always give credit where credit is deserved. My husband was really dreading the whole thing because we aren't as young as we use to be. But he enjoyed himself too! We didn't get him in the wave pool, but there is always next year!!

And the free drinks---WOW!!

We look forward to our visit in 2006!
