Money left over...
We just spent Sunday, September 3 and Monday, September 4 at Holiday World.
We live near Kings Island and are tired of going there so we thought we would visit your park.
First of all, between the low prices of food and souvenirs, we actually came home with money left over from our budget. Having the menus on the website are a huge help to a family of four, plus we were able to sit at one spot in the park and look over our printouts to see where we wanted to eat.
We actually noticed that with free soft drinks available, we didn't drink as much as usual, because we weren't stressed about the prices.
Second of all, by evening time, it was so nice to not be standing in line with our kids next to drunk people. We actually walked on concrete instead of a layer of old cigarette butts, which Kings Island seems to think is an alternative to mulch.
Third, what little time we spent standing in line, we weren't packed in like sardines like at other parks. We actually walked right onto The Legend around 4:00 on Monday.
And most important of all, we did not see Mrs. Koch greeting people at the gate when we arrived Sunday morning----she buckled us into our seats on the Scarecrow Scrambler!!!!
(P.S.-There is not a coaster at Kings Island that can compare to The Voyage! A coaster that can make you feel like you are "ramping" the hills is a treasure.)
