Annual trip from Colorado

I went to Holiday World in August with my grandma, grandpa, my little brother Noah, my two little second cousins Anna and Matthew and my cousin Natalie.

We had so much fun.

My brother and I loved The Raven coaster. We didn't get a chance to try The Voyage or The Legend. But maybe next year.

Anna loved the Holidog coaster. It was her first ever roller coaster. She rode it three times in a row.

My personal favorite was the Gobbler Getaway. I loved it so much!! But I'm not very good at shooting the targets. Noah beat me. At Splashin' Safari, we loved the Bahari wave pool and the Jungle Racer.

This year was our second trip to Holiday World. We love it so much. We are definitely coming back next year. Too bad we don't have a park as cool as Holiday World in Colorado.

Money left over...

We just spent Sunday, September 3 and Monday, September 4 at Holiday World.

We live near Kings Island and are tired of going there so we thought we would visit your park.

First of all, between the low prices of food and souvenirs, we actually came home with money left over from our budget. Having the menus on the website are a huge help to a family of four, plus we were able to sit at one spot in the park and look over our printouts to see where we wanted to eat.

We actually noticed that with free soft drinks available, we didn't drink as much as usual, because we weren't stressed about the prices.

Second of all, by evening time, it was so nice to not be standing in line with our kids next to drunk people. We actually walked on concrete instead of a layer of old cigarette butts, which Kings Island seems to think is an alternative to mulch.

Third, what little time we spent standing in line, we weren't packed in like sardines like at other parks. We actually walked right onto The Legend around 4:00 on Monday.

And most important of all, we did not see Mrs. Koch greeting people at the gate when we arrived Sunday morning----she buckled us into our seats on the Scarecrow Scrambler!!!!

(P.S.-There is not a coaster at Kings Island that can compare to The Voyage! A coaster that can make you feel like you are "ramping" the hills is a treasure.)

"We could use a park like yours in Nashville!"

I visited Holiday World for the first time since I was a kid (25+ years ago), when it was called Santa Claus Land.

I wanted to convey to you that I was pleasantly surprised.

The park was clean, wholesome, and economical. The family orientation and Christian values presented in the park are obvious in both the aesthetics and the employees throughout the park.

I felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time.

We only had a chance to watch one show, which was the diving show, and it was great.

The only negative is that Holiday World is three hours away from Nashville. We could use a park like yours here!

Thank you for a great experience!

My kids would go to your park first

My family went to your park on August 8 and 9.

We loved it!!

It started out raining both days so wait time was minimal. The Voyage was the best ride I have ever been on!!

We came with nine people.

The staff was super friendly and it exceeded my expectations. If you knew my love of amusement parks that is hard to do!! My kids have been to Disney World (Magic Kingdom and MGM), Universal (Studio and Islands of Adventure), Kings Island, Great America, Busch Gardens, Sea World.

If you asked them they would come to your park first.

My son would like to suggest a steel coaster, he wants to name it Santa's Sleigh!!

Thank you so much,

Not enough room on Comment Card

My family visited Holiday World yesterday, and we filled out the Comment Card we were given at the end of our day. However, we don't think there was enough room on that card to tell you how wonderful our experience was!!!

We kept saying all day to each other..........this park has been within four hours of us for all these years, and this is the first time we have been here???

The number and quality of rides was unbelievable! My son (age 13) said the "Voyage" is the best wooden roller coaster he has ever ridden in his life!

The free fountain drinks and parking is such an awesome service; not to mention that the food prices are so much more reasonable than other amusement parks............and tasty too!!

The park was very clean, and we found the staff to be very friendly and caring.

A GREAT experience!!

Thanks,
