The park stays fun, time after time

My 5-year-old son and I just got back from our 3rd trip this year to Holiday World.

The comments from the other visitors to your site are spot on -- how clean the park is, how friendly and accommodating the staff is, how convenient everything is, and how affordable it is to go to Holiday World. I just wanted to mention a couple of other things I appreciate a great deal:

Winner-every-time games makes it easy for me and my son to enjoy the game booths at the park. Skill games like basketball and ring toss are too hard for little kids. But at Holiday World there are duck games, fishing, etc., that are geared toward small kids and where they can try till they win. That means the little ones don't get left out, and that's important to group and family events.

Holiday World keeps the ranch dressing and barbecue sauce out with all the other condiments. That may sound silly, but I just hate having to stand in line twice at fast food restaurants because I forgot to ask for ranch dressing with the chicken strips. Plastic cutlery is also out with the condiments, so we don't have to worry about a dropped spoon, either.

The drink stations and restrooms are all conveniently located, well marked, and stocked properly. Standing in lines to pay for drinks, running around trying to find a restroom, or running out of toilet paper are all sources of anxiety for small kids, and for their parents. Since those things don't happen at Holiday World, our time there is much more relaxed than they would be with fewer or untended restrooms and drink stations.

In general, I think what Holiday World does best is to take the hassle out of going to a theme park. I don't feel like I'm being nickel-and-dimed all the time. I'm amazed at how much time we spend NOT waiting in line -- particularly at the water park, there is so much to do besides the "big" rides. The food is reasonably priced and varied.

Different areas have different games, rides, stores, shows, and food, so the park stays fun, time after time. Holiday World takes great care to make things fun for everyone, from wee babies in the little inches-deep parts of Splashin' Safari, to to the older folks taking advantage of scooter rental. You do everything you can to make the park easy to get to, to be in, and accessible to everyone.

For all of that I thank you, and my son thanks you, too.

Sincerely,
Jennifer and Daniel S.
Louisville, Kentucky
