Next time ... two days!

Eight of our family, including four grandkids, visited your park on Sunday July 29, 2007. Just wanted you to know how pleased we were with the visit.

Matter-of-fact, we are already considering a return next year. The four- and seven-year-olds loved the rides and especially Splashin' Safari, the older teenagers enjoyed the roller coasters, water park and free drinks. Those of us a bit older enjoyed the coasters, shows, clean facilities, food prices and most of all watching all the family having a great time.

Next time, we hope to visit for two days and get even more benefit from what you offer.

We consider your park a great value and look forward to visiting in the future.

There are still places that don't gouge you

Our family, my wife and three children ages 1-8, spent two days there last week, and we all had a terrific time!

I'll definitely buy season passes for next year, and forget about our local park (their initials are Six Flags, if you know what I mean).

I can't tell you how pleasant it is to go to a public park that still has such a strong family atmosphere. I know it's much more than just a saying for everyone there, it just shows so much.

I watched a lady, who was busy with her young children, set an empty cup down and leave it. Before I could walk over and throw it away, a park employee was already there, picking it up like it was no big deal.

I know it doesn't sound like much, but the employee's attitudes there are just soo much different than what I'm used to seeing. (If I only had a dollar every time I've been around ride operators who won't smile or even talk to you, well, you get the idea.)

Dinnertime there was just as pleasing, great food, even better prices and free drinks.

It's hard to believe that there are still places like this that don't gouge you for every dollar.

Thank you for your time, keep up the great work!

God bless you and have a wonderful day,
Jerry G.

Just got back...

My family and I just got back from visiting Holiday World!

I had not been there since it was Santa Claus Land! My son and husband had never been.

We will be coming back! We had lots of fun and we were excited to see Pat Koch! We have been to Disney World lots of times and have never seen any of the owners in the park working alongside their employees!

Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Super nice staff!

My wife, son and myself took a family trip on July 27 to Holiday World and I wanted to let you know that we had a blast!

It rained most of the day but the park only shut the rides down for about 2 hours.

Your water park is the bomb! We all loved it!

Also, the staff that you have working are SUPER NICE!

Our trip was one of the funnest times I've ever had.

We are about 2 and a half hours away from the park but we had such a great time that we are planning getting season passes next year!

I just wanted to thank you for the time of our lives! I just can't say how friendly the staff was!

Thanks for your time,

"I have never been so impressed!"

My family and I visited your park July 14, 2007. I don't even know where to begin!!!!

We actually began seeing your commercials on Channel 4 in Nashville, Tennessee. We had no idea what we were going to find there, but the sweet face on the commercial sold us!

I have never been so impressed in my life!

From the time we arrived in your very organized parking area with very kind traffic controllers to the park attendants to the restaurants, to an incredibly clean park ... to all of it, it truly couldn't have been any better.

Our family actually discussed how it possibly could have been better and the ONLY thing we could think of was water spritzers while standing in line for rides! But that truly was the only thing.

Everyone treated us like we were their family, really, so kind and eager to help. I thought for the price of the ticket, that the food surely must be expensive and were we ever surprised! Very reasonable prices for a great variety of really good food. And having access to water and tea all day long was such a treat!

This is truly a place where a family can afford to have a good time and not be pressed by money. The atmosphere was beyond compare and the variety for all of our family was wonderful!!!!

Your staff was precious, so very kind. The place was unbelievably clean. Most of all, it was all fun.

Thank you so very much for providing such a place. We have shared our experience with our friends and some of them are coming this very weekend.

Others have made arrangements to come in a couple of weeks. We will be back and this time we're bringing friends and a youth group! Thank you. Thank you for a wonderful day!!!!

Appreciated kind ride operator

I just wanted to let you know that we just came back from Holiday World and we had a great time.

Your staff was very friendly, my 4 year old wanted to ride the log ride but was concerned about the tunnel being dark. One of your employees heard her asking about it and proceeded to tell her not to worry about it, that she would turn the lights on for her and she did. My child was delighted and enjoyed her first ride on a log ride. I thought that was very nice of your employee to offer and I really appreciated it.

The water park was the best that we have been to and we have visited several in the past few years.

We will definitely be back.

Clean family fun

I just want to say that your amusement park is WONDERFUL!!!

My family from California and Illinois came to the park in June, and just went on and on about how clean, friendly, and inexpensive your park is.

I agree with them 100%.

My husband and I took our daughters to Six Flags in Eureka, Missouri, last weekend. I understood the park would be packed, that is not what bothered me. It was $15 to park, again, that really didn't bother me. We got into the park and it just does not compare to your park. It was very dirty and the staff was so unfriendly. The water park had an odor to it, just not clean! My youngest daughter is 6 and she brought a
friend with her they even commented on the weeds growing around the rides. The "kids" that worked there had filthy mouths as well ... anyway, you are getting my drift. Not a pleasant trip.

Your park though is just exactly what you say it is ... clean family fun. When you see Mrs. Koch out front greeting people or in the park picking up trash, refilling cups at the soda stations and what not, that says a lot for your park. I am very impressed and I promote your park to everyone I know.

My sister, her husband and 3 children are coming from California in August and we are coming to your park.

I just want to say thank you and keep up the good work.

I LOVE HOLIDAY WORLD!!

Group cheer

I was at the park last week with a youth group of 25 and just wanted to let you know everyone had a great time.

I wanted to also let you know how impressed I was with your employees at the music shows. After each show the performers greeted people and even helped clean up the seating area.

All of the kids are asking now when can we take them back a lot of them said they would rather go there instead of Dollywood so keep up the good work.

"Best deal in the country"

Last year, our family went to your park and had a great time. Yesterday we came back and had more fun than last year.

This is by far the most family-friendly park we have ever been to. On every single ride the talented park employees were: courteous, professional, and dedicated to safety.

The park was beautifully landscaped and no litter anywhere to be seen.

Ticket prices and food are very reasonable, free soft drinks and sunscreen turn your park into the best deal in the country.

Thanks and see you next year,

Never seen anything like it

Good service deserves a comment of gratitude. That’s what I offer here.

My family and I just spent four days at Lake Rudolph and during one of those days, we enjoyed Holiday World.

I’ve taken my children to many amusement parks over the years and it is a joy to now take my children’s children!

I was especially pleased with the services and hospitality of Holiday World; it outshines all other similar experiences. I’ve never seen anything like it. Your concern for guests is personal; your services are excellent; your facilities are tidy, neat, and accommodating; and your atmosphere is in keeping with the spirit of "holiday."

Thank you for a memory that we will all treasure for many, many years!

Respectfully,
Kass D.

Not the norm...

Please extend thanks to the Holiday World employees. Our family had a great day!

The park was clean, friendly, and affordable.

This was my first visit. I was amazed at how clean the water park was kept.

Again, the employees were helpful and kind. Those qualities are not the norm very often.

We hope to return. Keep the momentum going.

Thanks again,

Best trip in years

I just wanted to say thanks for making our trip back to the Midwest one of the best we had in years.

I only get back there about once a year and like to take the family out and do whatever can keep them busy.

Your park and the people that work there make it very easy to visit. First off the place is always clean. Then the people that work there really must feel that they are accomplishing something worthwhile. They totally must find satisfaction in their jobs. Unsure how you can keep so many motivated and ready to do such a good job.

Anyway, I would like to thank everyone there at your park for doing such a good
job and making us feel welcome. Good job and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

Got my veggies in!

I love the new Thanksgiving area!

The food was great and I was able to get my veggies in (I'm on Weight Watchers).

I like when I'm able to go on other rides or sit in the shade when my husband and son are on roller coasters. Your park is very family-friendly this way (and with the free drinks and sunscreen).

I went this past weekend and had a great time!

Ready for new memories

I just wanted to say how great it is for my five-year-old son when asked if he was ready to go to Holiday World, that he remembered everything that he did last year. From riding on the White Horse on the bumper cars to going into the water park, it was great that he remembered. You guys are doing a wonderful job and I just wanted to say thanks.

My older two kids are looking forward to riding the roller coasters that you have and cannot wait either. When my oldest one plays Roller Coaster Tycoon and she refers to her parks as Holiday World also.

This is one trip that we try to make every year even if money is a little tight, like this year. But to see the joy on the kids' face when we pull up, just makes the four-hour trip well worth wild.

Thanks for such a great place and we will see you guys bright and early on August 1st and 2nd.

Best amusement park experience

I wanted to share the best experience I have ever had at an amusement park.

My family, our life long friends, and others decided to take the drive to Santa Claus, Indiana, on Saturday, 7/21/07.

It was the best experience ever!!!! Definitely worth the 2.5 hours.

The rides were all exciting, new and the water park was a great cooling experience in the afternoon.

Your park is much larger than it appears on the commercials. In addition, it is clean beyond imagination, the rides more innovative than I've ever seen and the prices are more reasonable than a fast food restaurant.

The admission price was also very reasonable given the overall experience, in fact may be viewed as cheap. Ms. Cheap really needs to pick up this place, people would love it!!

En route home we discussed what a great time everyone had and the reasonable pricing for the entire experience.

We are already planning our next trip in August!

Thanks so much for a very pleasurable experience it is nice to see this type of family still exists with such a reasonable price tag attached. See you soon!

Your staff is exceptional

I just wanted to tell you what a great time my family had this past week at Holiday World.

With everyone from 1 to 62 a great time was had by all.

I have never seen a cleaner, more family-friendly theme park in my 56 years. We stayed in 2 of the RVs and everything there was beyond our expectations.

Just wanted to tell you and all your staff that they are exceptional.

In this world where everyone complains, you should be told what an outstanding place you have.

Keep up the good work, we will see you next year.

Second visit even better than the first

I visited Holiday World on Friday, July 6, two days after Independence Day. It was a lot more exciting for me than the year before.

I did get to ride the new ride in the Thanksgiving area, Turkey Whirl. I sure did like it more than the original Tilt-A-Whirl. As a matter of fact, I went on it 2 times.

I sure did enjoy the Gobbler Getaway. I did get several shots off and see the turkeys come out. I was able to score a good number.

I sure did enjoy the Liberty Launch in the 4th of July section. I like it a lot better than that tower at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. It was safer for me.

I sure do like the roller coasters. I did get to ride on the Legend and Raven. This time I did get to ride on the Voyage. I even have a picture of myself on the coaster.

I sure do like the free soft drinks. On the day I was there it sure was hot. It is very important to me to keep myself hydrated.

There was one of the water rides that I did go on to cool off. I did go on Frightful Falls. It did help me cool down a little bit. To me every little bit helps.

The free sunscreen is also a good help too. I was not able to get any sunburn. I have fair skin. I did remember to reapply after a couple of hours.

Your staff is always good and helpful. The people at The Voyage were really good to me. When I got on the coaster, one of the staff members placed my pack on the shelves for me.

Tell your staff members to keep up the good work every day!

Tell them that each day is like a whole new ball game.

I plan to come again next year. Keep up the good work!

All the other parks make us go broke!

Our family of 4 just got back from Holiday World on Monday evening.

We had a WONDERFUL time! I can not get over how clean the parks are, and how extremely friendly the employees are!

The free drinks are a lifesaver, and I hope the park keeps it that way!

We have been to Holiday World twice now, and we will definitely be back, probably next summer again.

My boys are 10 and 6 and they love Splashin' Safari especially (the Wave pool and lazy river were their favorites)!

I just wanted to let you all know what a great job you do in keeping prices down and making it affordable for our family to visit a theme park!

So many people from our part of town go to Holiday World and love it over any other park in the country!!! All the other parks make us go broke!!! Not Holiday World! It is a fantastic place!

Thanks for making our visit a great one!!!

Very dear to my heart

Our family and some friends just returned home from 2 fun-filled days there, July 16 & 17. It was hot, hot, hot, so we loved being able to grab a free drink any time needed.

I am 35 years old and I grew up coming to Santa Claus Land, and now bringing my kids and my parents still come too! I bought two 60th Anniversary books, one for me and one for my Mom. I have been so many times that it is neat reading about the history and seeing the park grow. It is a family tradition that I love passing on to my girls. The park and all the history have become very dear to my heart. You can see God's blessing to the park and its staff!

We have two little girls now, 9 & 5. They love Holiday World as much as I do. Everywhere you look there is something to do or ride. We spent a lot of time in the water park because of the heat, they LOVE all of the water slides. I also love to see all of the employees loving their jobs. The clean bathrooms and changing rooms are wonderful! We are looking forward to riding even more rides all together as a family as soon as my 5 year old grows one more INCH!! She will then be tall enough to ride most everything!! LOL.

We did some coasters, I actually went on the Legend with my friend Angie as our husbands and kids watched.... It was GREAT! I have NEVER been on a coaster that lasted that long. I know that I am not a teenager anymore now though, because I am not use to that kind of action anymore! I was totally exhausted when I got off the ride, LOL. Wow is all I can say!!

My advice: get there when the park opens, do some rides before the heat hits,, then head to the water park till about 5-6:00, then go for the rides till close, it is cooler then. We love seeing the park lit up at night!

My girls' favorite ride???? The Revolution. Yep, that is right, one of the most simple rides in the park ... they just LOVE it. My 9 year old's favorite coaster was The Raven.

Hotel advice? We LOVE Lake Rudolph, the RVs and cabins are GREAT! This trip we stayed at Santa's Lodge in a family suite with 4 adults and 5 kids, plenty of room and a whole bunch of fun!!! It is right across the street and easy to get to!!

Thank you Holiday World, what a blessing to have you to come enjoy family fun!!

Till next time, and never too soon!!!!

Ten times better!

I wanted to let you know how much my family and I enjoyed your park during our recent first visit. We had heard good things about your park.

We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the park, the friendliness of the employees and the overall atmosphere. I was very impressed by the rules of wearing shirts, shorts, etc. when patrons came out of the water park.

We also enjoyed very, very much the musical shows and the diving demonstration. We also were very impressed with the free parking, free sodas, etc.

We live close to Six Flags over Mid-America and they could learn a thing or two from your park. Parking at Six Flags is close to $20, sodas are approximately $3-$4 a cup, the park is not nearly as clean and patrons can run around in just swimsuit tops and men are bare-chested.

Our family is talking about making "Holiday World" our annual excursion and forgetting about Six Flags.

As my 8-year-old niece said: You are 10-times better than Six Flags!!!

We'll be back!

One day is not enough

This was the first year we've spent two days at Holiday World and we have decided that we'll no longer come … for just one.

It MUST be for two days!

Our little one will be 4 in August and this is our 3rd year coming. We actually teased the attendant as we were leaving that the 3rd day should be free for having this much fun.

I want to commend you for offering such a wonderfully clean and family-oriented place for families to come play together.

I pray God will continue to bless you in your efforts.

You never outgrow Holiday World!

My name is Amanda and every year I look forward to coming to my favorite place which is none other than Holiday World!!

This year I experienced nothing like I had before I rode a roller coaster for the first time and of course it was The Raven!!! It was the most fun ever!!!

I haven't quite worked up the courage for The Voyage but I am getting there!!

My mom asked me before we visited this year if I had started to "outgrow" Holiday World. I told her that you can't ever "outgrow" Holiday World it will always be fun to young and old!!!

The word is out

Yesterday another young couple, my husband, and I visited your park. I just wanted to let you know how impressed we were.

The rides were great and they suited young and old. The part we were very happy with were the prices.

The free parking was one thing, but the free drinks really made a difference. Just because the drinks were free we thought the food prices would be outrageous, but they weren't! The food was great and very well priced.

We will definitely be visiting Holiday World again whether it's next year or when we have kids. It was family-oriented and there was nothing that I would be afraid for my own kids to see or experience.

I was happy with the modesty in the park as well as Splashin' Safari. We’re from the Indianapolis area and the word is out how great your park is.

I hope you continue these qualities within your park for future success.

Thanks for a great day,

The lifeguard was just a blur!

We visited Holiday World yesterday and wow I don't even know where to begin.

I was amazed at how friendly your staff was, we were asked if we needed help even before we saw a staff member.

The park was so clean and well kept.

Our daughter who are 5 and 8 had so much fun there, they were happy to see all the rides and water slides that they could go on, it made our day so enjoyable.

I had read all the other posts that people had left about their trip there before we went but to go and actually see everything was awesome.

It was well worth the 5 hour drive with the girls.

One of the things that I didn't read about that shocked and thrilled me was the station that you could go to and have a bracelet placed on your child with your cell phone number on it in case you got separated and all the lost parent stations. This made me feel so at ease.

Your lifeguards are amazing and on top of their job. We were floating in the Bahari River when my 5 year old slipped out of her tube and went under water and before I had a chance to even react a lifeguard was there out of nowhere and pulled her up and didn't leave until she knew she was okay and safely seated in my tube with me.

I asked my husband after all was over where the lifeguard had been and he said he just seen a blur coming by him!!

Thank you for such a wonderful day with our girls and we plan on making Holiday World a summer trip every year....

Great family park

I just visited my sister near Evansville and we decided to spend a day at the park.

I had first heard of Holiday World while watching The Travel Channel about the top ten roller coasters.

I was very impressed. The workers were very friendly, the park was clean, and food prices were reasonable. The sunscreen and drink oasis were absolutely wonderful. We arrived at opening time and stayed till closing.

My family enjoyed both parks and did several attractions over and over again. Thank you for a great family park.

Thanks for the Dress Code!

I just wanted to let you know that I am looking at whether to take our two sons (7 and 8) to Kings Island or to Holiday World.

First of all, your web site has got to be the easiest to find what I was looking for and the most informative that I have ever been on.

The menus and pricing of all the food locations truly impressed me. Secondly, the free soft drinks are a great "catcher" because drinks alone at other outings are enough to cause our family to declare bankruptcy.

But the true reason we will be visiting your park is that you are not ashamed to have a dress code -- even in the water park. I hate the thought of spending the day having to expose the boys to rude and vulgar clothing and to clothing that should only be worn for your husband's pleasure.

My husband and I have started teaching both boys at a very young age to turn their heads and look the other way when women are showing more than they should. Recently my oldest made this comment, "My neck hurts from having to turn it all the time so I won't see ladies who won't dress modestly."

Thank you for attempting to allow our family to enjoy a day without my husband and the boys getting whiplash. My teenage niece will also be there and she (like myself) refuses to dress immodestly and will be very appreciative that your park cares enough to enforce a dress code.

Thank you very much for your time and we are looking forward to visiting the park.

We just got back from visiting Holiday World and wanted to say what a great time we had and how pleased we were with the park.

It was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and it was so pleasant not to have sticker shock when we went to buy food.

The park stays fun, time after time

My 5-year-old son and I just got back from our 3rd trip this year to Holiday World.

The comments from the other visitors to your site are spot on -- how clean the park is, how friendly and accommodating the staff is, how convenient everything is, and how affordable it is to go to Holiday World. I just wanted to mention a couple of other things I appreciate a great deal:

Winner-every-time games makes it easy for me and my son to enjoy the game booths at the park. Skill games like basketball and ring toss are too hard for little kids. But at Holiday World there are duck games, fishing, etc., that are geared toward small kids and where they can try till they win. That means the little ones don't get left out, and that's important to group and family events.

Holiday World keeps the ranch dressing and barbecue sauce out with all the other condiments. That may sound silly, but I just hate having to stand in line twice at fast food restaurants because I forgot to ask for ranch dressing with the chicken strips. Plastic cutlery is also out with the condiments, so we don't have to worry about a dropped spoon, either.

The drink stations and restrooms are all conveniently located, well marked, and stocked properly. Standing in lines to pay for drinks, running around trying to find a restroom, or running out of toilet paper are all sources of anxiety for small kids, and for their parents. Since those things don't happen at Holiday World, our time there is much more relaxed than they would be with fewer or untended restrooms and drink stations.

In general, I think what Holiday World does best is to take the hassle out of going to a theme park. I don't feel like I'm being nickel-and-dimed all the time. I'm amazed at how much time we spend NOT waiting in line -- particularly at the water park, there is so much to do besides the "big" rides. The food is reasonably priced and varied.

Different areas have different games, rides, stores, shows, and food, so the park stays fun, time after time. Holiday World takes great care to make things fun for everyone, from wee babies in the little inches-deep parts of Splashin' Safari, to to the older folks taking advantage of scooter rental. You do everything you can to make the park easy to get to, to be in, and accessible to everyone.

For all of that I thank you, and my son thanks you, too.

Sincerely,
Jennifer and Daniel S.

We'll visit again (without the kids!)

My husband and I visited your park yesterday. It was just a spur of the moment decision.

We enjoyed the park so much. It was so clean and so family-oriented.

All the staff were very polite and friendly.

The rides were terrific. My husband and I vowed to come again next year (without the kids!).

We have three children. We will definitely bring them before the end of the summer. We are going to suggest it to our church as well.

Thanks so much for a very enjoyable time!

So much worth the drive

We just returned last night from spending Friday and Saturday at Holiday World and I just wanted to take a minute and tell someone what a wonderful place you have.

We took my granddaughter who is 5 and my daughter who is 17 both of whom cannot wait to return.

I had always thought for many years about Holiday World and just never came up. We live 100 miles south of St. Louis and it took about 4 1/2 hours to get there.

It was so much worth the drive.

We are used to places like Six Flags where you pay to park, really pay to eat, and most of the people are rude that work there.

The employees at Holiday World are so very friendly from all the teenage help to the older folks.

Keep all the great things that you do and please let anyone know who needs to how great we think you are.

We stayed at Santa's Lodge and were pleased there as well, we just came back and forth for the 2 days.

Thanks again for a great little break !!!!

We had a blast!

We were just at Holiday World this past weekend with 6 kids ranging from 11 to 16 and we HAD A BLAST!

I want to compliment you on such a family oriented park. I LOVED the free drinks and the food prices were so reasonable that a family can actually afford to come to your park. Even your gift shop prices were affordable.

The wait times were wonderful and your staff were all very happy.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience at Holiday World and I will definitely recommend Holiday World to everyone I know.

Keep up the good work and once again, thanks for making our weekend an affordable place for our family to have a LOT OF FUN!!!!!!

Ages 7-51, big smiles on everyone

I visited your park yesterday for the very first time, along with my two daughters and granddaughter.

I must admit until I started seeing your commercials on my local TV stations I had never heard of Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, much less Santa Claus, Indiana.

At first I was wondering why would you advertise something in Indiana way down in Tennessee, but you are just over 3 hours from my house and I live a little southeast of Nashville.

My kids and I went to your website and read all about your park and we decided to make the trip and see how much fun it was.

The directions on your website were absolutely wonderful. We never made a wrong turn and had very little traffic to deal with all the way there and back. That put us in a wonderful mood to start off with.

Then we arrived at the park and we saw Mrs. Koch out there greeting everyone and we all recognized her from the commercials, so it showed us that she has a great love for this park. Most owners would never be seen anywhere near the business.

We bought our tickets online which was really a great idea and made it easy to just go right in once we got there. The park was immaculate. I never saw any trash anywhere inside. The bathrooms were so clean and I felt like I was at home and not afraid of catching anything if I used the facilities.

It is very family-friendly throughout the park.

The guests were all well-behaved and even though it was a very busy day I didn't mind the crowds at all.

The employees were all so polite and knowledgeable regarding the park features, etc. They all had a smile on their faces and always told me to enjoy the rest of my stay at the park. That tells me a lot about your business and how you treat your employees and that makes me want to give you my business.

The free drinks and sunscreen were a big blessing. None of us got sunburned at all and we were there all day and into the night. As a single mom and grandmother I have a limited income to spend, but having those little perks made it more reasonable for me to bring my 2 girls and granddaughter without feeling like I could not afford it.

The food was very good and the prices were great, too.

The variety of slides and well as theme park rides was great. There was plenty for all of us to do. I definitely feel like a 2 day adventure is called for as we would have loved to have had more time to do our favorites again.

Our ages ranged from 7 years to 51 years old and we all left there with a big smile on our faces as well as making plans to return next year for a 2-day stay. We have even said we may consider season passes for next year if we think we can get away enough to make it worth the cost.

We returned home and have already been telling people what a great place you have there and that they need to go asap.

Keep up the great work and we look forward to visiting you again soon.

Thanks,

An absolutely marvelous time

I was just writing to say thank you to all the fine folks at Holiday World. My family and I visited the park on Saturday July 7, 2007, and had an absolutely marvelous time.

Our day started off with a warm greeting at the front gate by Pat Koch herself! What a treat.

We enjoyed scream-filled rides on The Voyage, laugh-filled rides on the Thunder Bumper Boats, and a nostalgic trip aboard the Freedom Train.

And what would a visit to Holiday World be without a visit to the Betsy Ross Doll House!

This year was our first time to enjoy Splashin' Safari and the Bahari River was the perfect spot to cool off in the sunshine.

Holiday World staff was super friendly all day and very helpful when my sister in law needed a little minor first aid.

The food was delicious and very reasonably priced and with temps in the low 90s, we truly appreciated having free Pepsi to drink.

My husband was born in Tell City and grew up outside Louisville. He has been coming to Holiday World since he was a kid (when it was Santa Claus Land).

This is our family's fourth trip back since 2000 and we had such a great time we are already setting a date to come back next year.

My only disappointment was having so much to do and not enough time to do it all. We are planning to stay at the campground and spend a couple of days when we come back next year.

Please pass along my sincerest thanks to the Koch family for keeping Holiday World the same FUN place we've come to treasure. (And for giving us new awesome thrills to enjoy each year too.)

See you next year!!!!

No wonder your staff is so nice

We had such a great time at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari this week.

Thanks for having such a clean park that has different rides and fun for the whole family. Pat, I was particularly impressed to see you there (recognized from the website) greeting and working with employees at the gate. Then later in the day I spotted you again picking up trash in Splashin' Safari. WOW! The owner picking up trash. No wonder your staff is so nice. It shows they like working there.

We rode The Voyage and had to put our fanny pack up in storage. It had our money in it and we were concerned and wanted it locked in one of the lockers. Great idea! We tried to get it to work and couldn't figure out were to put the money in. The attendant came over and said, "Keep your money, peace of mind is free here at Holiday World." He locked it up and handed us the key with a smile!

The storm on the 4th did keep us from enjoying the rest of the day. However your staff was prepared. We were escorted from a picnic pavilion by Monsoon Lagoon to
the building at The Voyage. There we waited out the storm. Your staff worked to make sure we were safe and helped us get our whole wagon of things in out of the rain.

Thanks for another great vacation at Holiday World! See you next year.

"My girls saved aluminum cans all winter"

I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at your park on June 15.

We actually saw Pat a few times while we were there, and my girls had a great time pointing her out to me. One of the best things was the dive team. They were great, and even took time out after the show to pose for pictures with the kids and talk to us. That was really cool.

My girls saved aluminum cans all winter so they could make enough for their tickets to your park. We thought it was great how you have free drinks, and sunscreen. Plus with the huge portions of your food, we were all able to eat for cheap. We being my husband, my 16-year-old eating machine son, an 11-year-old dd (darling daughter), a 9-year-old dd and myself.

We wanted to let you know how great we think your park is, it was clean, everyone was so good to us, the people who work there were nice, once comforting my dd while she was waiting with her brother for her dad and I to get off The Legend when it scared her while WE were the ones on there.

Thanks so much for the great park. Keep up the good work. See you next summer for sure!!

Such a good deal, such a great park, such fun for our whole family.

Thanks again,

Above and beyond the call of "Santa duty"

I visited Holiday World on July 4th and wanted to let you know how wonderful my experience was.

We had a typical day at the park and as you know were rained out later in the afternoon (which was a little disappointing).

We ran to the gift shop for shelter from the storm (the lightning and thunder were very frightening). I have a 2-year-old and 5-year-old daughters who were nervous and scared. The power flickered on and off several times which added to their anxiety.

Santa was wonderful!!! When he realized the kids were restless and scared he called out into the gift shop and offered to read the kinds "'Twas the Night Before Christmas."

About 10 children and parents sat around Santa (my older daughter Kristen even got to sit on his lap and help him turn pages) as he read the story. It was delightful. He went above and beyond the call of "Santa" duty. He was just wonderful.

The kids were so happy to get some special time with Santa and I am sure it is something they will never forget. Thank Santa for us - and let him know I hope someone fills his stocking extra special this Christmas.

Sincerely,

Well done and well run

I just wanted you to know that me and my family had planned for 2 weeks to come to Holiday World and every time we planned something came up and we had to change plans.

Today we got to go, it was a really good day. The drive was good, the weather was good. We were blessed with a wonderful day.

I believe when someone does something good you should compliment them and I just wanted you and your employees to know we had a wonderful time.

We don't go places much, but we chose to come to Holiday World for a Family vacation, and Holiday World is a great place to take the family. It is a very clean place, the workers were friendly, the rides were clean, the bathrooms were clean, the food was good, and having free cokes was really appreciated.

Thanks for a job well done and well run.

Enjoyed the Christian music

We just got back from Holday World and wanted to let you all know what an AWESOME time our family had. We also wanted to say thanks for all the Christian music we heard and all the Christian symbols we saw.

We are already planning our next trip to Holiday World. We currectly have Six Flags season passes and after coming to Holiday World we feel like we are getting ripped off with our Six Flag Season passes.

Thanks again for your clean park, free parking, free sunscreen, free drinks, and all of the Christian accents you have in the park. WE LOVED IT!
