If you live in the Louisville area...
...you might want to rise-and-shine Wednesday morning and check out WDRB's Darin Adams' visit to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari on Fox 41's "Fox in the Morning" show.
It was a little chilly when Darin and cameraman Eric visited Monday morning. I believe I counted the number of swimmers in Bahari on one hand.
There was a mom stretched out on a chaise lounge...
Knitting.
Darin kicked off his shoes and socks and bravely dipped his piggies in the water. Will, ever the King Solomon clone, wisely stayed to the side of the pool.
Eric and I snickered like school kids while Darin did a little ooooh-I'm-not-used-to-the-water-yet jig.
(Don't worry, the water is warming up nicely now that the sun is back in gear.)
Mrs. Koch was on hand to talk about Revolution and the new train on The Raven. I couldn't hear what she was saying but they were both laughing pretty hard.
Darin worked us over pretty hard, trying to get an idea about what we're scheming about for 2006. He was remarkably relentless. Not quite annoying, though.
You can tell that he didn't tip my annoyance scale since his dry shoes and socks were waiting for him on the shore when he finished his quirky little version of River Dance in our wave pool.
