Gobbler Getaway is coming alive.

We took a crew from WEHT-TV for a tour this morning.



I never got to tell Alan that his shirt was glowing in the black light. (Will's shoelaces, too. Kind of freaky.)

We're all getting really excited about Gobbler Getaway. It's been overshadowed by The Voyage, but we get the feeling this turkey is anything but.

The Turkey Trotters are here, ready to be put on the track. Take a look at the Turkey Calls waiting in their little holsters.



Will spoke with both WEHT-TV and WFIE-TV today. They said to watch at 5:00 and 6:00 and 10:00 pm CDT and chances are, we'd catch the features. (Sounds like a marketing ploy to me ... is it sweeps week already?)

It's always a bit risky showing the media around a week before opening. You can see it in their eyes, they're thinking, "There's no way they can have this place open in just over a week."
