The very first contest

Ever since we announced The Voyage last July, we've received a steady and persistent stream of questions:

"Who gets to ride first?"

Can I sign up to ride before everyone else?

"How do I get my grandkids a ride on that new coaster even before you open?"

If I get in line now, can I be first in line to ride The Voyage?

Before we go any further, let us be perfectly clear: There is only one answer to the "who gets to ride first" question.

That would be Will Koch.

He's more than ready.

He can't wait.

Oh...and he owns the place.

He's also officially listed as one of the designers, have I mentioned that before? It's the four Gravity Group guys (Larry, Chad, Korey and Michael) plus Will.

When it comes to Opening Day (Saturday, May 6), there will be a lucky few who will get to ride The Voyage an hour before the official open-to-the-public time of 10:00 am CDT.

The first contest to be announced is with our friends at News25 WEHT and Champion Windows. (Please note that this first contest is limited to residents of Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois.)
