Let's see who's #1

Last month, we attended a Media Marketplace in Indianapolis. It was sponsored by the folks at State Tourism, to help attractions and visitors bureaus meet up with some travel writers.

Melissa, from our visitors bureau, and I headed north that day at 5:30 am.

In the fog. (Remember that foggy, foggy day? It lasted into the afternoon, which was downright weird.)

One writer was from the South Bend Tribune. Somehow, she missed our booth and was headed out the door. Taking a chance that she wasn't intentionally skipping us (after all, we were giving away fudge from Mrs. Klaus' Kitchen) I chased her down and invited her back.

Considering how we fared in her follow-up article, I'd say it was worth the dash.
