"Oh, so THAT'S how it works!"
There's nothing like a ride simulation to help you finally figure out what it is you're promoting.
"Ohhhhhhhh...!" It gave me such a lift to finally "get it."
I mean the ride type has been around a long time. There's just a new way of getting from here to there that I finally understand.
Matt turned to me and all but dared me: Are you gonna ride it?
"Yes. Of course. With you. In the back."
Will laughed. He loves it when we sass each other.
And not to worry. A week from Tuesday you, too, will be able to watch the animation and do you own version of, "ohhhhhhhhh...!"

Well coasters have been around a long time...and many of us do like to ride in the back!

Skyride? New way of getting from here to there (i.e. front of the park to the "back").
It would be "tall" to come over the trees in Christmas & Halloween and "drop" down into Thanksgiving.

Im guessing some sort of launch coaster.."a new way to get from here to there"..possibly meaning since there is no traditional "lift hill"

Or a new type of Water Coaster? There's two seats in a raft.

I was thinking, New style of drop ride, Similar to the old intamin drop rides, but utilizating a train of some sort for higher capacity. But i seriously doubt it.
It a new kind of somthing old. Hmm.
Nope cant think of anything. I must say, I hate you paula, you're making this too difficult.

It is most definitely not a coaster because they would not add a new coaster already and take away from the glory of the Voyage. It still could be a version of "The Banshee" and you can ride in the back of it and the view from that high would be "ohhhhhhhhh" so inspiring and it could get you from here (the bottom) to there (the top).

yup that what I am thinking!!! Something like a sky lift... That would have differnt drop off points through out the park!!! If that's not it they should consider getting one!!! Holidayworld is a very pretty park!!! I bet it would look great from up above!!! And yet the guessing game continues!!! I bet the alexia ranking is down with all the hits the site is getting!!!

on water coasters isnt the "BACK" the 1 that gets the most wet?
8/18/08 11:17 PM
I think it's going to be a water coaster for sure. They've been around for a while and they now have magnets to launch them up the hills instead of water jets or conveyors. It will be similar to Deluge at SFKK but be the highest in the world. I just don't think it will cost 8.3 million.

skyrides usually only have forward facing seats. i dont know though. maybe some kind of new but using 'old''technology' lim powered ski-lift type ride. i need another hint paula.

I'm thinking there are two different clues here...one for the ride and one for the new, innovative, free service they will be doing. I think for the "new way to get from here to there" might have to do with some sort of transportation within the park. I know Will mentioned that they were looking at things like that on a videopodcast back when the voyage was announced.

gave her a "lift"....hmmmm....

Someone mentioned in another string the possibility of the Gravity Group’s new concept coaster called Splinter. If you go to GG’s site they actually show pictures of the Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain at Indiana Beach as part of the Splinter ride concept, even though the concept shows a traditional lift hill Superstition Mountain has an elevator that lifts the train (2 cars) to the top. An elevator lift would fit into the statement: “"Ohhhhhhhh...!" It gave me such a lift to finally "get it." I mean the ride type has been around a long time. There's just a new way of getting from here to there that I finally understand.” Just another idea… 7 days till we find out!
