Now ... and then
Well, actually, then and way back then.
These photos have been in my "HoliBlog photos" folder since last summer.
Oops.

What a sweet family photo, taken in August.
Siblings who now live in Indiana, Ohio and Mississippi.
Want to see something even sweeter?

This is the same family back in 1970.
Clockwise from top: Robin, Lynda, Kim, and Sonny.
Okay, so it took them 38 years to come back. At this rate, we'll be ready for another photo in 2046.
Huh. Just in time for our Centennial Anniversary Celebration.
Think they planned it that way?

A sunny day
Temps are expected to drop and drop this week, so the construction crew is making the most of the toasty weather today. (Was that snow I just saw?)
Work continues on the pump pits, the tunnel and the reservoir.

So be good for goodness sake!
When I first tweeted about this new page on our website, we heard a comment that "Pat looks a tiny bit scary."
Scary?
Instead, these lines from the Christmas song popped into my head: She knows when you've been sleeping ... she knows when you're awake. She knows when you've been bad or good...
Actually, there's a bit of a story behind this page. When Rick was designing his first website with us back in the fall of 2002, he asked me if we wanted to have an "intercept page" to provide frequently-asked-questions to folks who were planning to email us.
Something about that just didn't feel right. I worried we'd offend people by acting like we didn't want to personally answer their questions.
But a few years ago, it started making more sense. If we could provide a quick and easy way to answer their questions on the spot, it was worth a try; we just needed to find a way to make it an enhancement rather than an annoyance.
If we could just have an amusing graphic or photo ...
... enter Mrs. Koch. She's game for just about anything.
When I called to ask if she'd pose for this photo, she was over here in a flash. She didn't even run home to change -- can you tell what sweater she has on?

Load 'em up, move 'em out!

One of Santa's Elves?
Look what appeared on someone's office door over the Christmas break:
So, just how well do you know us?
Post a comment below and let us know whose door you think this is ... and who anonymously posted the sign.

Hint #1: My only involvement was taking the photos while waiting for person to return to his/her office for a meeting. (In other words: It wasn't me and it's not my office!)
Hint #2: The person whose office it is said it was fine to post this on the HoliBlog and to include this photo of his/her desk (hence the sign).

(Here's the answer: The photos are of a sign posted on Will's office door by Rides Director Tori ... who loved to tease him. Will thought it was hilarious and left the sign on his door for all to see.)
