From the Mammoth's point of view
Photography used to mean you shot a roll of 12 or 24 snapshots and took the film to the drugstore to have it developed.
It might be a week or more before your vacation photos came back.
If.
Now, it's more or less instantaneous.
And of course video is just about unbelievable to anyone who's been around long enough to remember shooting Super 8 film.
A super-fun part of video is shooting POV. The acronym POV stands for Point of View, meaning "what the rider sees." When you watch a POV video of our rides, you just might feel that "tickle in my tummy" sensation of G forces!
Nathan put together this video showing you the ins and outs of our new Mammoth, including some up-close-and-personal POV footage. Hope you enjoy watching it!

Slow down on Voyage this summer ...
Oh, not really ... but Nathan is playing with the slow-motion feature on our video camera and had fun putting this Voyage video together:
Love that coaster hair!

An accent on fun
The other day, Dan was helping to load boats at Mammoth. He happened upon a few visitors from Switzerland and let them talk him into sharing a ride with them.
Here's their video postcard:

Gate gifts
It's so sweet to see Mrs. Koch empty her pockets after spending the morning at our front gate, greeting Guests. There's always something interesting ...
Some of the smaller visitors bring her heartfelt gifts.
It may be a simple message:

... or intricate artwork, such as this masterpiece from young Cale:

... or even a copy of a photo from long ago.
Mrs. Koch howled with laughter looking at each child in this Santa Claus Land photo from 1965, wondering what her father (Santa Jim) might have said to cause such a reaction:

That little fellow in the foreground is getting the heck out of there!
Thank you to all who've shared your photos, drawings, greetings and hugs with Mrs. Koch over the many years. You're truly appreciated!
