Are you friendly…outgoing…and love to meet people? Admissions Hosts & Hostesses greet our Guests, sell and scan tickets, enforce rules, and answer Guest questions. Physical requirements include working indoors and outdoors as well as being able to stand for long periods of time. Most shifts are from 8:45 am – 1:30 pm, and average hours are generally 20-25 per week.
Are you interested in arts and crafts? Airbrush Hosts & Hostesses assist our Guests, take orders, and create a memory. Requirements include nice handwriting, working outdoors under shelter, and being able to stand all day. Shift times vary from day to day, and average hours are generally 25-35 per week. Do you love talking on the phone? Call Center Hosts & Hostesses answer incoming telephone calls, take group ticket orders, file, and type. Physical requirements include sitting for long periods of time. Technical requirements include using a computer. Shift times begin no earlier than 7:00 am and end no later than Holiday World’s closing time. Average hours are generally 30-40 per week.
Would you like to share your positive, service-oriented attitude with our awesome Hosts & Hostesses? Employee Services Hosts & Hostess sell uniforms and bus tickets, perform laundry services, and answer employee questions. Physical requirements include some moderate-to-heavy lifting and being able to stand for most of the shift. Most shift times are 5-7 hours in length and generally start at 7:00 am, 9:00 am, or 2:30 pm. Average hours are generally 20-40 per week.
Do you drive a school bus? Employee Transportation Hosts & Hostesses deliver riders to and from pick-up and drop-off locations in neighboring communities, help off-duty Hosts & Hostesses gain access into the park, and assist Employee Services with laundry. Physical requirements include bending over and climbing up during pre-trip inspections. Most shift times are 5:20 am – 11:30 am and 5:20 pm – 11:30 pm. Average hours are generally 15-40 per week.
Do you love to entertain people or share in that experience? Do you sing…dance…or both? If so, Entertainment is the perfect choice for you. Perform in one of our musical shows, entertain young children as a costumed character, or work behind the scenes as a technician. All entertainment applicants, including Costumed Characters, must attend an Audition rather than Job Fair.
Do you enjoy helping others? Emergency Medical Technicians provide emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional manner to Guests and Hosts & Hostesses. Requirements include remaining calm and keeping composure during stressful situations as well as maintaining private health information. Duties include efficient cashiering, prepping and cooking food, and maintaining drink stations. Physical requirements include standing all day and some heavy lifting. Requirements include a super-friendly, outgoing personality, salesmanship, some heavy lifting, and standing all day. Most shifts start at 9:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 3:00 pm, and are generally 5-6 hours in length. Average hours are generally 20-30 per week.

Merchandise Hosts & Hostesses stock, organize, rent, and sell many different types of merchandise items and services, operate photo equipment, and assist our Guests with purchasing choices. Physical requirements include standing all day and some moderate to heavy lifting. Most shifts are 8:45 am – 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm – Holiday World closing time. Average hours are generally 30-35 per week.
Are you looking for an afternoon job? Grounds Hosts & Hostesses remove and replace trashcan liners as well as operate skid loaders and tractors during early afternoon and evening operating hours. Physical requirements include the ability to climb stairs and working in all types of weather. Most shifts are 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm, and average hours are generally 25-40 per week.
Are you looking for an early morning job? Grounds Hosts & Hostesses pick up litter, remove and replace trashcan liners, and blow and hose down walkways. Physical requirements include the ability to climb stairs, extensive walking, lifting and pulling water hoses, and working in all types of weather. Most shifts are 5:00 am – 10:30 am, 6:00 am – 10:30 am, and 7:00 am – 10:30 am. Average hours are generally 25-40 per week.
Do you love the smell of freshly cut grass? Mowers operate several types of lawn care equipment in and around the park. Physical requirements include the ability to hold leaf blowers and weed-eaters and working in all types of weather. Most shifts are 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, and average hours are generally 25-40 per week.
Do you love being outdoors and getting a tan? Lifeguards supervise our Guests’ behavior while they participate on water attractions as well as assisting them out of the water. Requirements include successfully completing our First Aid/CPR/Water Rescue training program, attending mandatory training sessions, and standing all day, including sunny, hot, humid, and rainy days. Most shifts are from 10:18 am – 6:42 pm, and average hours are generally 30-40 per week.
Are you looking for a fast-paced sales position? Locker Rental Hosts & Hostesses rent lockers and manage lost and found items in Splashin’ Safari. Physical requirements include standing all day and making change. Most shift times are from 9:15 am – 3:30 pm and 3:30 pm – Holiday World closing time. Average hours are generally 30 per week.
Do you enjoy maintenance work? Maintenance Hosts & Hostesses fuel and lubricate rides, clean pools and filters, backwash pools, and inspect water slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers, all before each park opens. Physical requirements include climbing stairs, extensive walking, lifting, bending, and working in all types of weather. Most shift times are from 6:00 am – 10:00 am, 7:00 am – 11:00 am, and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Average hours are generally 24 per week.
Are you looking for a job early in the morning? Morning Cleaning Hosts & Hostesses thoroughly clean restrooms, gift shops, lunchrooms, and other designated areas before the parks open. Physical requirements include extensive walking, lifting, bending, and working in all types of weather. Shift times start at 4:30 am and end no later than 11:00 am (additional hours are available upon request). Average hours are generally 25-35 per week.
Do you enjoy being outside? Parking Hosts & Hostesses direct incoming and outgoing traffic in a swift yet safe manner as well as monitor parking lot security. Physical requirements include extensive walking and being on foot most of the day. Most shifts are between the hours of 7:45 am and 9:00 pm and are 3-4 hours in length. Average hours are generally 15-35 per week.
Are you looking for weekend work? Picnics/Catering Hosts & Hostesses prepare and serve meals and drinks for company picnics and group outings. Duties include prepping and cooking food, serving drinks, and cleaning up after each event. Do you love working outdoors in a fast-paced, safety-minded area? Ride operators are energetic, detail-oriented people who enjoy the challenge of moving crowds in a safe and efficient manner. Duties include enforcing safety rules and assisting our Guests on and off the rides. Requirements include quick thinking, the ability to listen and watch riders and rides, and standing and walking all day, including sunny, hot, humid, and rainy days. Most shifts are from 9:18 am – 3:30 pm, 11:00 am – Holiday World closing, 11:30 am – Holiday World closing, and 3:30 pm – Holiday World closing. Flexible schedules (1-6 days per week) are available. Average hours are generally 30-60 per week.
Do you stay calm in stressful situations? Security Hosts & Hostesses patrol and monitor company grounds, write reports, monitor internal telephone and radio communication, and assist Guests and the parking lot crew. Physical requirements include extensive walking and being on foot most of the day. Shift times vary throughout the day, and some overnight hours are possible. Average hours are 30-40 per week.
Do you love being outdoors and getting a tan? Slide Attendants assist our Guests onto inflatable tubes and enforce rules and regulations. Requirements include successfully completing a First Aid/CPR training program, attending mandatory training sessions, and standing all day, including sunny, hot, humid, and rainy days. Most shifts are from 10:18 am – 6:42 pm, and average hours are generally 30-40 per week.
Are you looking to stay in shape while you work? Sweepers clean walkways, ride lines, restrooms and smoking areas as well as answer a lot of Guest questions. Are you looking for very physical work? Warehouse Host & Hostesses load and unload trucks, operate equipment such as fork trucks and skid loaders, stock shelves, rotate stock, and deliver products and packages to locations throughout the company. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, heavy lifting, and working in extreme temperatures (-15°F to 130°F) and weather conditions. The daytime shift is 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, and the nighttime shift is 6:00 pm – 5:00 am. Average hours are 20-60 per week.
