DESCRIPTION: Bahari is a huge new themed family wave pool at Splashin' Safari Water Park.

SIZE: Bahari adds six acres to Splashin' Safari. The pool and beach area measure a total of 33,000 square feet. The pool includes over three-fourths of an acre of water.

CAPACITY: 1,100 guests.

WATER DEPTH: Zero-depth entry to 6 feet.

FEATURES 60' x 15' peninsula with geysers; 8 computer-generated wave patterns; Water-play features such as sprays, jets, and geysers; Waves "on" for 10 minutes and then "off" for 10 minutes; Themed rock work on pool walls.

TRANSLATION:"Bahari" is Swahili for "immense sea."

PRONUNCIATION: "Bahari" rhymes with "safari."

INVESTMENT:$2.1 million; part of the $6.3 million expansion project for 2005.
