THE VOYAGE NAMED #1 'SCARE YOU SILLY' COASTER

SANTA CLAUS, IN-----A national magazine names The Voyage roller coaster at Holiday World the planet's #1 "Roller Coaster That Will Scare You Absolutely Silly."

Real Simple magazine, which has a monthly circulation of nearly two million, lists the top coasters in April's special travel issue.

The listing, which is also available online at Real Simple's website, declares The Voyage is "the be-all and end-all of wooden coasters."

At 1.2 miles long, The Voyage includes a record five underground tunnels (some are double, creating eight "underground moments"), a series of dramatic drops (including a 66-degree angle of descent on the first drop), three 90-degree banked turns, and multiple track crossovers. It has 24.2 seconds of "air-time," more than any other wooden coaster in the world.

One of Holiday World's other coasters, The Raven, also makes the list. Real Simple describes its #9 choice as, "&this bird packs huge thrills."
