We have just arrived back in the UK after our two week rollercoaster tour of the USA taking in Cedar Point, SF Great Adventure, Dorney Park and Kings Island.
We would just like to say a big thank you and well done to each and every single person at Holiday World. Our two days were simply amazing. You may not be the biggest park or have the most rides of the parks that we have been to but you are by far the best park we have been to.
From amazing friendly staff, to sensational woodies, to a lovely clean park, to great value food and free drinks!! Even to seeing the park owner cutting pizza at dinner time. Also a huge well done for catering for vegetarians and vegans, not something that USA parks tend to do at all other than just fries.
In the Voyage you have the most stunning rollercoaster we have ever been on. I thought El Toro was great but The Voyage blows it away and pretty much any other ride. For sure our number 1 coaster now.
Whatever you are doing now, please don't ever stop or what you are as you are the most perfect park I can imagine.
It was a long drive down to you from Sandusky but it was worth every single minute, we can't wait to come and see you all again in the not too distant future.
Regards,
Graham & Caroline W.

WOW! What else can one write to describe the wonderful inaugural experience the S. Family found at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Sunday, May 24, 2009?
Pros: Free parking, free drinks, free sunscreen, good food, great rides, genuinely pleasant and helpful staff and pristine grounds. Everything about our visit was spot-on including value for dollar. It was so refreshing to visit an amusement park where "self-respect" (for want of a better description) has not been traded for profit margins. Truly exceeded our expectations.
Cons: None! The only regret is that we had not visited HW/SS prior to this trip. We very much look forward to another satisfying visit later this season.
See y'all then.
Thanks,

I just wanted to say that you guys at Holiday World do a great job.
My parents always took me there at least once a year. My mamaw and papaw always took me once a year as well. I have been coming there for the last 28 years, back when it was still called Santa Claus Land. We still call it that sometimes.
My family and I have had season passes now for the third year. It takes us a little over an hour to get to your park. We will just decide to come on a whims notice, even if it's just for a couple hours of fun. Both my wife and I work only part-time so we come a lot.
The free soft drinks really make the world of difference, especially for the kids. On a hot day it could even be a matter of health.
Both of our children were always taller than most and where able to ride Frightful Falls (lovingly referred to as the "Log Ride") and Paul Revere's Midnight Ride (referred to as the "Octopus"), and then they would want to be swung like the "birds" even before they were 2 years old. They still love all of them.
For the last two seasons we have had a travel trailer camper making it even nicer to camp at Lake Rudolph. The kids can go back to the camper mid-day and take a nap and then go back to Holiday World for more fun. They talk about your park all fall and winter long awaiting the opening.
I can remember a lot of changes to your park, but a lot of the rides are still the same. Please keep it this way. Most of the changes were great, though I would like to see another wax museum like you had where the Liberty Launch is now. Although, that is a very fun ride.
Please, and I am sure that you will, keep up the good work.

I just wanted to tell you how impressed I was with the friendly staff in your park.
We went today with our son's school and we took our youngest son that is 6 years old and little scared of most rides. It was a day of talking him into trying rides. Nothing like roller coasters-the calmer ones. We rode Raging Rapids and this one took a lot of talking him into it but it was a nice ride. One of workers named John, he was really nice and helpful, he sealed a deal for my son to ride. He didn't want to ride in the dark so John turned the lights on in the tunnel so he wouldn't have to ride in the dark. We appreciate how nice and helpful your staff was, it made the day wonderful.
The free drinks helped out and your food prices were amazing, it was very good day. We will be returning again soon.

Yesterday we were at Holiday World for our BMS band competition. Everyone in our group (around 70 band 65 choir) TOTALLY enjoyed the park.
I was so amazed at how clean the park was (even bathrooms), how friendly ALL employees were, and your prices were soooo reasonable. A family can actually come to your park, have fun and eat at a very reasonable price.
I personally had the buffet lunch, a slice of pizza, and a waffle cone - all very very good. Oh and the free soda and sunscreen - don't know how you manage to offer that but WOW how great.
Your park puts all other parks (especially Six Flags) to shame.
Our band director stated yesterday that this competition / park would be our Concert Band (7 grade) trip every year. Our 7th grader's yesterday who will be 8th grade and Symphonic Band members next year said they are going to sign up for both Symphonic and Concert Band so they can come back next year.
I can't wait until next year.
Thank you so much,
