Updated 5/26/2021

We’re so excited to welcome you back for an extra-special season celebrating 75 Years of Family Fun. We care deeply about your fun and safety, so we still ask that you do a few things to make everyone’s visit safer:

Check back often

Before you read the following information for your upcoming trip, remember that the world is still changing around us. We’ll continue to evaluate and update our policies as we go. Follow us on social media or check back to this page to make sure you have the most current information.

Face Coverings

In light of recent CDC Guidance, fully vaccinated Guests may resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to follow CDC Prevention Measures: wear a mask indoors and in outdoor spaces where social distancing isn’t possible, and maintain 6 feet of physical distance between travel parties.

We will rely on our Guests to follow the guidelines based on their vaccination status.

According to the CDC, individuals are considered fully vaccinated:

  • 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

All Guests should stay home and get tested if they have symptoms of COVID-19.

If you would like to wear a face covering, but forget one at home, we will have disposable ones available at Guest Relations for $1.

Social DistancingVoyage and Thunderbird

Please continue to practice social distancing. Our famous yellow footprints are still spread around the park to help keep you safe!

Guests no longer have to wait in line virtually this season however we still ask that you continue to practice social distancing in line.

We will be loading every row on roller coaster trains to help keep lines moving, and maximizing capacity as much as possible. Guests are still welcome and encouraged to wear masks on rides.

We don’t plan to close any attractions due to social distancing this year but still may have closures due to maintenance, lightning, or other reasons. We list rides that are closed for the day here

Tickets & Season Passes

Guests do not need to make reservations to visit at this time, as there are no water park or amusement park capacity restrictions in the state of Indiana.

Pick Your Date / Any Day / Flex Tickets / Tickets at the Gate

Guests are encouraged to purchase Pick Your Date tickets with better discounts so we can plan for your visit. Any Day Tickets are once again available, and Next Day Tickets are available for sale at Guest Relations before you leave the park. Guests may purchase tickets at the gate this year, but are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for better discounts and to avoid lines.

If you have purchased a Pick Your Date Ticket and need to change the date of your visit, simply visit Guest Relations on another day and they’ll help you change your ticket, though a fee may apply depending on the date you select. Please change the date of your visit if you or someone in your party feels ill or has been asked to quarantine.

Season Passes

Once again, Season Passholders will not need to make reservations to visit.

If you purchased a 2020 Season Pass and didn’t use it, your pass has been automatically rolled over to 2021 free of charge. You may take your voucher to Season Pass Processing to get the pass processed (if you can’t find your voucher, don’t worry! We can look it up for you). If you visited during 2019 Happy Halloween Weekends and already had your 2020 Season Pass processed, but did not use the pass in the year 2020, you may use your pass to enter the park with no changes, unless your appearance has changed significantly since the last photo.

If you haven’t processed your Season Pass yet, you can do that any time the park is open. For the shortest wait times, we recommend processing Passes after 3pm or on early weekdays (Mondays through Wednesdays).

Arrival & Bag Check

Our touchless security screenings will be even faster this year. All Guests must enter through the screening unit and should do so without removing wallets, keys, phones, bags, etc. Remove belongings from any wheelchairs, strollers, or wagons and carry them through the checkpoint. Our Security Team Members may still need to perform additional screening, so pay attention to their instructions. More information on our new bag check system as well as a list of prohibited items is available here. As always, weapons are not permitted in Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari.

Hand Sanitizing Stations

Please continue to wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water as often as possible. When washing your hands isn’t an option, we’ll still have our 100 Hand “Santa-tizer” stations located around both parks. You’ll spot these colorful stations located near ride exits, food locations, and gift shops. Just look for the colorful red Santa suits.

While Santa is delivering vaccines around the world, he has made the time for virtual visits to his favorite summertime spot. Children can tell Santa their Christmas wishes in a video call at St. Nick’s gift shop at the front of the park. Santa’s Virtual Visit times are listed here.

Holidog and Friends will be back on stage at the Hoosier Celebration Theater for more socially distanced entertainment. We’ll be bringing back our regular stage shows including Wild & Wacky Magic with Don Baggett, and a new cirque show called Celebrate! Muziki Bay, our new entertainment/pool area will be opening this summer with fun and exciting new shows for the family in Splashin’ Safari! Showtimes for each day available here.
