Close to 75 members of the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain will visit Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari tomorrow, as part of their tour of the United States’ best roller coasters.
“We host quite a few coaster enthusiast clubs each year,” says the park’s spokesperson, Paula Werne, “and none is more fun than this group. It’s like having Monty Python in the park all day—they’re lots of fun!”
The Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain will arrive in time for a behind-the-scenes tour of the park’s roller coasters and will be first in line to ride The Voyage, which Travel Channel named the nation’s #1 Wooden Coaster in last summer’s “Coaster Wars” special.
“Hosting this international club is quite an honor,” says Werne. “This is the group’s 25th anniversary and they chose to visit only their very ‘favourite’ parks from across the country for this trip.”
The Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain is known for their group cheers and shouts of “We’re coaster crazy!”
