He sees you when you’re sleeping

He knows when you’re awake

He knows if you’ve been bad or good

So be good for goodness sake

When you live and work in a town named Santa Claus, you almost get used to it.

Santa’s got to eat, right? So he grocery shops.

Oh, hello Santa – great price on fresh strawberries this week!

Santa needs a trim once in a while, so he makes a stop at the barber shop.

A little less off the top this time, Mr. Claus?

And Santa enjoys taking a nice walk and stopping by a restaurant for a good meal.

Be sure to leave a little room for dessert, Santa!

You expect to see Santa at Holiday World, of course. But even then, it can be a little shocking to see Santa on, say Wildebeest with the host of NatGeo Channel’s World’s Toughest Fixes, Sean Riley:

Santa & Sean Riley ride Wildebeest

Santa will be back in the park on Opening Day, May 3. He can’t wait to visit with his friends of all ages in the remodeled Mrs. Klaus’ Kitchen!

Meanwhile, have you seen how our Santa statue comes to life in our new television commercials?

Side By Side Santas

The Santa statue character will make several public appearances this spring, so we’re going to name this our #SantaSighting Sweepstakes.

We’ll have three winners, randomly chosen, who will each receive two one-day admission tickets to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari.

Good stuff, right? Enough to make you ho-ho-ho?

It has to be when I was around 5 and remember on the way to my grandparents house Christmas eve night seeing a red light in the sky. My dad told me that was Rudolph nose I was seeing and he was pulling Santa’s sleigh. I was very excited and told everyone. Now I get to see that same excitement in my 7 year old nephews eyes. Ill be taking him to Holiday World this year and get to see that thrill in his eyes just like I had that Christmas eve night many years ago. 🙂

I remember coming to Holiday World when it was Santa Claus Land and sitting on Santa’s lap. I thought it was so magical to see Santa in the Summer!

When I was a kid we went every year, sometimes two or three times, my brother and I got most excited when we saw the first billboard on the way. It wasn’t just Santa. It was the whole park we loved.

The first time my son had his picture taken with Santa was priceless. We didn’t let him see who’s lap he was sitting on until after the picture was taken. We got a beautiful smile. Then, he turned around and saw Santa, that’s when he started screaming. Will never forget that!

I remember taking my kids to Santa Claus Land every summer when they were smaller. I’ve now been lucky enough to continue the tradition with my grand children. I still call it Santa Claus Land, but my oldest granddaughter always corrects me, “It’s called Holiday World Mamaw.

Before my dad passed away from Lou Gherigs Disease, I remember him always taking me and my sisters and brothers here every year. He would take the back roads so that we could go over the hills and it would take our bellies. He would take turns riding the scrambler with us so he could smush us every time it turned, we would all ride the log ride and then run around wet the rest of the day, and kind of like in adventures in babysitting ” Nobody leaves here without singing the blues” well, no one ever left Holiday Wolrd without eating the Blue ice cream. 🙂 Thank you for being such a wonderful family park.

We took our boys for the first time last year. They were excited about the Santa statue but even more excited when they saw the real Santa walking right past us by the cookie shop. 🙂

My most memorable sighting was almost 2 years ago when my husband and I came there on our honeymoon and when Santa found out that was what we were there for he congratulated us. Very Sweet!

My most amazing santa sighting is a little unusual. I took my 7 year old son to see the local mall santa and when we arrived I noticed that the santa was African American. I though my son was going to ask lots of questions because he had never seen an African American santa before. What really through him was when I walked up to Santa with him the Santa said hello Melissa. My son was shocked that Santa knew my name. I was too!! (It is amazing the strange places you see old high school friends after 20 years!!))
