As has happened many times in the past 24 years, on Play Day the weather forecast was a bit iffy. Happily, the storms held off until after all the buses had returned their precious cargo back to school. Amanda from WEVV-TV in Evansville had a ball putting together this wonderful story about our day:
And guess what I learned yesterday – it’s not just us! Pam from the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville told me they’re also celebrating their 70th birthday this year. We’re so grateful to the kind and caring folks at The Rehab Center for using Play Day funds to help so many dear children over the years.
