It’s been a few years since we have been able to go. I guess last time was on a Mother’s Day with our church. Had a great time. Would love to go back.

The song that I think of summer is the song ” In the summertime”. Not sure if that’s the correct name but that tune is always in my head.
My kids and I love Holiday Worlf and Splashin Safari, it’s always a great time to spend with famy and see the excitement and happiness on my kids faces.
When my son was little he would call it Hollywood and Splashin Farty, so that’s what we still refer to it as, lol

Growing up Holiday World was a family tradition through the summer. We had many family reunions at Holiday World, many camping trips to Lincoln State Park or Lake Rudolph. Many great memories! My first roller coaster at around the age of 8 was the Firecracker at Hiday World, my older cousins almost forced me on it & I criedike a baby the first but after a few rides it became my favorite ride! Its awesome to see how Holiday World has evolved & even better, to carry on the family tradition with my children!

My summer song would be “SummerTime”, even if I hear it during a cold winter blizzard I still feel the warmth of the sun and the smell of the ocean??????????????????

If I hear Party Rock Anthem, I can’t help but think of summer drives in the car with my teenager.

Oh, if I am supposed to tell you my favorite summertime song,…. it is Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys!! It reminds me of warm days and drinking orange soda!! I visited Holiday would around 1972 (I was about 6) when it was Santa Claus Land and my favorite thing was the dancing chicken, I always loved that memory of feeding the chicken to see it dance… Weird the things kids hang on to in their memories!!
