Park officials announced the reprise during its “Halloween in the Sky” drone show on Saturday, Oct. 22.
“Not only do 100 additional drones increase the scale of these scenes, but the complexity of the stories we’re going to be able to share,” says Lauren Crosby, Director of Entertainment and Fourth-Generation Owner of Holiday World. “It’s going to be a challenge to top the 2022 Holidays in the Sky Drone show, but I know our team is up to the task.” The new show with 400 drones will return on June 17 and run nightly through July 30, 2023. “The first night we opened Holidays in the Sky, we knew we had something special,” adds Crosby. “You could see that the DJ Dance Party and drones had something for everybody. It’s hard to tell which was more magical: the drones, or the memories being made. We had to bring it back for another year.” Guests will have a final chance to see the Halloween in the Sky drone show on October 29th. The show will begin at 7:45 pm and is included with admission to Happy Halloween Weekends. Holiday World’s family-friendly fall event consists of the rides at Holiday World with Halloween-themed shows, food, a candy trail, and attractions! Sunday, October 30th is the final day of Happy Halloween weekends and Holiday World operation for the 2022 Season. Season passes for 2023 are on sale now and include the NEW Free Pre-K pass.
