Opening May 2023

Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari will be providing affordable housing for qualifying Team Members beginning in May of 2023. 


Team Members must be employed seasonally at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari to qualify to live in Compass Commons. Team Members must be at least 18 years old, and must live at least 50 miles away from the parks to qualify. Ideal candidates include students enrolled in college who are pursuing specific internships, and students traveling to the United States with the Bridge USA program.

College Program

Students on a college internship are welcome to stay in Compass Commons, provided they meet our age and distance criteria. Check to find out about our internship opportunities. 

Bridge USA Students

Students traveling to the United States are welcome to stay in Compass Commons but need to apply through our partner agencies. Please fill out the form below for more information. 


Compass Commons is located at 16485 N. State Road 162 in Santa Claus, Ind., within convenient walking distance to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari Human Resources. Compass Commons is located on the trails system of Santa Claus.

Rates & Amenities

In addition to the perks, all rooms are multiple occupancy and each floor has common restroom and shower facilities, with private locking stalls. The weekly rate to stay at Compass Commons is $105, which will be payroll deducted. Included with this rate:

  • Wi-Fi
  • Central Heating/Air Conditioning
  • Lounge space on each floor
  • Large shared kitchen space
  • 24/7 Front Desk Team Member 
  • Secure facility with 24/7 monitoring
  • Free parking

Interested in Living in Compass Commons?

We are now accepting applications from those team members who have been offered a position with us and meet the housing requirements. If your application is approved, you will be assigned a bed or placed on the wait list depending on availability. As space becomes available throughout the season, we will utilize our waitlist to fill those vacancies.
